SPECK Cleaning provides outstanding residential and commercial cleaning services. Our expert teams ensure your home or office stays impeccably clean.

SPECK Cleaning Terms & Conditions

By booking a service through this website, you agree to be bound by our terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not proceed with booking a service.

Booking Confirmation

Booking service online doesn’t guarantee you a spot for that date/time, you will be contacted by email or phone with a confirmation.

WE REQUIRE AT LEAST 24 HOURS OF NOTICE (this is to secure jobs for our cleaners for the next day and will give us time to find a replacement job in case you cancel or reschedule)

If you cancel or reschedule your service with less than 24 hours’ notice, a cancellation fee of $60 will be applied.

Clients may reschedule their cleaning up to 24 hours before the scheduled appointment, with a maximum of 5 reschedules. Exceeding this limit will result in an automatic cancellation fee.

Cleaning Crew

We will assign between one and three cleaners to your home. Occasionally, more cleaners may be necessary due to the complexity of the work or a busy schedule. We strive to minimize the rotation of cleaners in your home while ensuring our cleaning technicians receive sufficient cross-training.

All our cleaners undergo background checks before joining our team, so you can trust that our staff is both trustworthy and accountable.

Right To Refuse Service

We reserve the right to deny &/or terminate service because of safety concerns, inappropriate or uncomfortable situations, weapons on-premises, severe clutter & disconnected utilities.

Our cleaners have the choice to leave if the home is in an extremely unsanitary condition or if they feel unsafe/threatened. If you book a cleaning that is unreasonable, the cleaners may refuse service on the spot & you will be charged the cancellation fee.

Cleaning Day Preparation

Your cleaning price is based on our cleaners dedicating all their time to actual cleaning. Please take a few minutes to tidy up beforehand, ensuring easy access to floors, countertops, tabletops, and other surfaces. If you would like our cleaners to handle these tasks for you, please call our office in advance so we can adjust your cleaning fee to account for the additional time.

Parking

Please ensure convenient parking for our service providers. If free parking is not available, the parking fee will be charged to your card. If no parking is available and our service providers must leave due to this inconvenience, the appointment will be considered “cancelled” and a $60 cancellation fee will be applied.

Pets

We will gladly work around pets. We ask that indoor activity be limited for cleaning efficiency & safety reasons, if your pet becomes anxious or presents a safety concern, SPECK Cleaning reserves the right to remove its service providers from your home.

Our service providers are instructed not to enter a house if they believe an animal is a threat, pets may behave differently if a family member is not present. If the removal of our service provider is due to aggressive pets, our cancellation policy will apply.

Service Fees

Please note that our instant prices are based on industry standards and our experience. However, we may adjust the price based on the actual condition of your home. To avoid any surprises, we will call you if we find that the job will require extra time. If we are unable to reach you, the crew will have to leave, and a cancellation fee will be charged.

We reserve the right to reevaluate rates at any time based on the time required to meet the client’s standards. SPECK Cleaning will contact you to discuss any price or service revisions if the cleaning time differs significantly from the original estimate.

Payments

Payments must be made on the day of cleaning using check, cash, or credit card.

Refund Policy

We do not provide refunds as all sales are final. While we strive to offer our clients the best service possible, we acknowledge that mistakes can occur. If such an instance arises, please contact us via email or phone within 24 hours, and we will rectify the error at no additional charge.

Recurring Service Discount

Recurring discounts will commence AFTER the initial cleaning service. If you choose to skip cleanings, resulting in a lower frequency than originally scheduled, your price will be adjusted to reflect the pricing level for the reduced frequency.

Rate Increases

Client cleaning rates may be adjusted at any point during the year in response to changes in the frequency of the established service schedule or the client’s home or living situation, such as remodeling, address changes, alterations in the number of occupants, or significant additions of furniture.

Customer rates will be subject to an annual increase, not to exceed 8% of the client’s current rate.

Lockouts

The client is responsible for ensuring that the service location is accessible to SPECK Cleaning personnel on the scheduled service day. In the event that the team is unable to access the client’s home due to being locked out, every attempt will be made to contact the client to arrange entry. If contact is not established within 20 minutes of the cleaning team’s arrival, the scheduled cleaning will be skipped, and a $60 late cancellation fee will be applied. This fee is necessary to compensate the service providers for unexpected lost revenue and travel time. To avoid this fee, please provide us with a key or access code for entry to your home.

Rescheduling & Cancellations

Service reliability is crucial as we allocate specific time slots for your appointments. We kindly ask for a minimum of 24 hours’ advance notice if you need to cancel or reschedule for any reason to avoid incurring a $60 cancellation fee.

Alarm

If your home is equipped with a security system, please ensure that it is in the off position or call our office with the code & proper directions for use. If the code should change please let us know so you do not incur a lockout charge.

Use Of Homeowner’s Vacuum

If you request to use your vacuum, we will not assume or accept any liability for damage to the unit. Since we are not responsible for the maintenance of the vacuum, we will not be responsible for any repairs to it. This is important because if the vacuum is not in working order when we arrive to clean your home, we will not be able to perform any vacuuming of carpet & hard floor surfaces.

Cleaning Supplies

We provide the equipment & products needed to thoroughly clean your home.

If you require to use your cleaning supplies, note that we are not responsible for any damage associated with those products. When this request is made we ask that you have the cleaning chemicals & supplies ready so we can perform our cleaning service as efficiently as possible.

Items We Cannot Clean

Mold removal is a specialty, we cannot be liable for any mold-related risks in clients’ homes.

We cannot clean hoarding homes or areas containing any animals & humans’ body fluids, blood, feces, vomit, cat litter boxes, bird cages & urine, or excretions.

Unreachable Areas & Heavy Items

For safety & liability reasons our employees can’t climb higher than a step stool or work outside of your home. Cleaners can’t move objects more than 35 pounds, if you would like to clean behind heavy objects, please move them prior to cleaning.

Breakage/Damage & Loss Policy

While an occurrence is rare, the possibility of breakage or damage is present while we clean. Our cleaners exercise reasonable care when cleaning your home, we carry insurance for damage or breakage caused by our cleaners.

We are not liable for damage that is caused by normal wear & tear, improper installation of an item in your home, artwork, collectibles, or family heirlooms not disclosed during the booking process, these items include but are not limited to the following

  • Artwork, Collectibles & Family Heirlooms: These items are expensive & impossible to replace, The client should point out such items to us before starting service, Please advise us how you would like your fragile items handled & their care.

Notification must be made within 24 hours of breakage/loss of any personal items. Identical replacement is always attempted but not guaranteed.

Cleaners Arrival Window

We arrange our cleanings to minimize drive time, aiming to keep prices low and avoid trip fees. While we strive to accommodate specific time requests, we cannot guarantee exact times.

Given the unpredictable nature of our business, including factors like traffic, weather, and mechanical issues, we schedule cleanings with a 2-hour arrival window to allow flexibility. If we anticipate running late, we will notify you via call and/or text.

Holidays

SPECK Cleaning does not do holiday visits.

If your scheduled day falls on a holiday, we will contact you to reschedule, the following holidays will be observed:

  • Independence Day
  • Thanksgiving
  • Black Friday
  • Christmas Eve
  • Christmas Day
  • New Year Eve
  • New Year

Inclement Weather

We will be closed for business when weather conditions prevent Maricopa County School Districts from opening.

Keys

At SPECK Cleaning, the security of our clients’ homes is paramount. Rather than holding onto keys ourselves, we kindly ask our customers to provide a lockbox outside their residence where they can securely store their house key.

After completing the cleaning service, we will return the key to the lockbox and ensure it is securely locked. This procedure allows us to prioritize the safety of our clients’ homes while still providing convenient access for our cleaning team.

In the unfortunate event that a client opts to leave a door unlocked or place a key in an unsecured location, Bumble Bee Cleaning Services cannot be held responsible for any resulting damages or theft.

Non-Solicitation Of SPECK Cleaning Service Providers

As our valued customer, we request that you refrain from soliciting or hiring any of our cleaners to work directly for you. Our professional cleaners undergo background checks, reference verification, and comprehensive cleaning training. We invest significant time, resources, and funds in each new cleaner before allowing them to enter our customers’ homes.

Governing Law

Any claim relating to SPECK Cleaning website shall be governed by the laws of the State of Arizona without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

We have made every effort to design our website to be useful, informative, helpful & honest, hopefully, we have accomplished that & would ask that you let us know if you would like to see improvements or changes that would make it even easier for you to find the information you need.
