1. Agreement and Acceptance

By ordering cleaning services from Speck Cleaning via telephone, message, e-mail, or website, you agree to the terms and conditions of this agreement. Speck Cleaning reserves the right to make changes to this agreement without prior notice. All records will be kept on file for quality and training purposes.

2. Guarantee

Speck Cleaning guarantees 100% customer satisfaction. If you are not completely satisfied with any part of your service, you can contact us within 24 hours of your last service to assess and evaluate the problem area. Our team of professionals will come back to re-clean the area that did not live up to your expectations.

3. Employees

All cleaning partners of Speck Cleaning undergo rigorous training to meet the detailed expectations of our clients. Our cleaning services are customized to meet your needs. If you have any special requests or needs, please let us know, and we will do our best to meet or exceed your expectations.
Our cleaning partners have undergone a background check and reference check during the hiring process. The number of cleaners will depend on availability and the price will be determined by the total work hours.

4. Payments

Payments are due in full upon completion of the service. Payment must be processed before the cleaning partner leaves the premises. Customers are required to keep a credit card on file prior to starting the service. Credit card on file will be processed for any deposits, cancellation fees, and/or services rendered. Sales receipts will be emailed or texted to the customer on the following business day after the service has been rendered.

5. Tipping

Speck Cleaning does not require tipping, but you are welcome to tip if you would like. Just leave your tip with your payment, and management will make sure that the money is distributed properly. Leaving a note of appreciation is also a meaningful gesture.

6. Refunds

We cannot offer refunds to customers because cleaning is a personalized and subjective service. If a task was not completed to your satisfaction or an area was missed during our visit, please contact the office within 24 hours of your last service to review and resolve any issues.

7. Price Adjustments

We reserve the right to issue rate increases at any time. Customers will be notified of any rate increases. As the needs or conditions of your home change, you may receive a price increase. The price is based on total hours worked with either one or two cleaners. Cleaners are assigned based on availability and size of the home. The hourly rate quotes for each cleaner will apply if needed any longer. If you have a time limit or hour restrictions, please advise us at the time of scheduling your appointment.
If a recurring service is canceled after the first service but before the second service is provided, the discount will not be applied, and the discounted amount will be charged to the customer.

8. Cancellations/Rescheduling

We require 24-hour notice for cancellation and/or rescheduling of any scheduled appointment. Cancellation requests left on voicemail will not be accepted. In the event of cancellation or rescheduling with less than 24-hour notice, a cancellation fee of $60 will be assessed. We are extremely strict on our cancellation/rescheduling policy, please honor it.

9. Arrival Window

If you wish to be present during the cleaning visit, please be advised that we provide arrival windows. Your Cleaning Associate will arrive anytime within your scheduled arrival window. You are expected to be present or have planned for us to gain access to your home within your scheduled arrival window. Failure to do so may result in having to cancel or reschedule your visit, a cancellation fee of $60 will be charged.

10. Tardy

If we happen to be running late to your appointment, we will contact you as soon as possible and provide you with a new expected time of arrival.

11. Parking

Our customers are responsible for providing our cleaning partners with any one of the following (which must be within a 1/2 block radius); a permitted parking space (personal or public), a valid parking permit or cover all parking fees incurred while cleaning your home. The customer will be responsible and liable for any cost incurred because of having our Cleaning Partners vehicle towed if proper parking is not provided while cleaning your home.

12. Lock Outs / Utilities / In-Home Climate Control

A lock out fee of $60 will be assessed if our cleaning associate(s) arrive and are unable to access the premises despite the reason. Power and Water must be always accessible during the cleaning. If your appointment is canceled due to power and water outage, a $60 cancellation fee will be assessed. Under no circumstances will services be performed in an environment that is not physically comfortable for labor. This includes but is not limited to extreme heat or extreme cold. In the event that your appointment is canceled due to uncomfortable temperatures within your home you will be charged a $60 cancellation fee.

13. Severability

If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

14. Governing Law

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which the company is located.

15. Jurisdiction

Any legal action arising out of or relating to these terms and conditions shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in the county in which the company is located.

16. Entire Agreement

These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the customer and the company and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether oral or written.

17. Modification

The company reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice. Any modifications will be effective immediately upon posting on the company’s website.

18. Termination

The company reserves the right to terminate this agreement at any time, with or without cause.

19. Waiver

No waiver of any breach of these terms and conditions shall be deemed to be a waiver of any other or subsequent breach.

20. Assignment

The customer may not assign these terms and conditions without the prior written consent of the company.

21. Headings

The headings used in these terms and conditions are for convenience only and shall not affect the interpretation of these terms and conditions.
